Legendary concert performer BB KING heads to Victoria for one show only!
Independent producer Deborah J Cameron presents the KING OF THE BLUES on Thursday, April 26th at 8:00 PM. Joining the King are eight of the finest musicians in North America. Accompanied by a full horn section, lead & bass guitars, drums, and kicked with a Hammond B3, BB King promises to “rip the roof off” the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre in Victoria.

Over the years, BB King has developed one of the world’s most readily identifiable guitar styles. His spare phrasing, his vocal imitation of his own playing, and trademark left-hand vibrato are taken for granted as a part of the modern rock vocabulary. In BB King’s own words “ When I sing, I play in my mind, the minute I stop singing, I start to sing by playing Lucille. “

BB King continuously tours the globe to sold-out theatres and stadiums. Besides enlightening a new generation about the history of Blues in African American culture, he is a source of inspiration to everyone. Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Jimi Hendrix, U2, and the Rolling Stones are just a few of the rock and roll legends whose roots go deep into the blues of BB King.

Victoria is one stop on a national tour across Canada in 2007. BB King will perform in Vancouver, Kelowna, Prince George, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Thunder Bay, Niagara Falls, Toronto, Ottawa, Kitchener, Quebec City, Montreal and Saint John.

Random Line-up Policy:
- ˝ hour before on-sale, numbers will be handed out to all individuals waiting to purchase tickets.
- 5 minutes before on-sale a number will be drawn. That is where the line-up will begin.
- Numbers preceding the number drawn will line up sequentially.
- Any patrons arriving after the draw will line up after the last ticket handed out.
