The Navy Rocks highlights a week of festivities during the International Fleet Review – a rare occasion to celebrate the 100-year Canadian Naval legacy among all those who are wish to recognize the meaningful contribution the Navy has made to our country. On June 12th, thousands of Canadian and foreign sailors, Department of Defence employees, and members of the public will show why “The Navy Rocks”.

Organizers are thrilled to have three of the most popular bands in the country come together for the biggest birthday party on the west coast this summer.

Since his first big hit in 2002, Montreal born singer-songwriter Sam Roberts has become one of the best selling performers in Canadian music history, winning 2009 Juno Awards for Artist of the Year, and Rock Album of the Year.

54-40 is one of the most important popular music groups to emerge from the Canadian cultural landscape. With more than two decades of performing and recording behind them, the band has an impressive catalogue of hit songs.

Hamilton born, Halifax bred Matt Mays has made a career out of defying expectations. From his early days as a member of the seminal ‘alt-country’ group, Mays also won the ECMA for Rock Album of the Year in 2008 and was nominated for a Juno in the same category.
