(Victoria, BC) – Canada’s premier figure skating Tour, Sears Stars on Ice Presented by Samsung, has brought together a superstar ensemble of Olympic, World and National Champions from all over the globe for its 21st season. This year’s cast promises to deliver fans of all ages the ultimate live figure skating experience with a gathering of legends past, present, and future. The Tour glides into Victoria, BC on Tuesday, May 10th, 2011 for a 7:00 PM performance at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

Sears Stars on Ice Presented by Samsung continues to be a pioneer in figure skating by offering fans the rare opportunity to witness some of the world ’s most creative and cherished champions performing together in both individual and ensemble routines. Four-Time World Champion & Four-Time Canadian National Champion Kurt Browning will be joined by 2010 Olympic Gold Medalists Tessa Virtue & Scott Moir and 2010 Olympic Gold Medalist Evan Lysacek (United States), along with a phenomenal cast of some of the world’s most respected athletes, including Olympic Gold Medalists Jamie Salé & David Pelletier; Olympic Silver Medalist Sasha Cohen (United States); Olympic Bronze Medalist & World Champion Jeffrey Buttle; 2011 Canadian National Silver Medalist Shawn Sawyer; Olympic Bronze Medalist Joannie Rochette and World Bronze Medalist Kyoko Ina (United States).

The Sears Stars on Ice Presented by Samsung Tour, founded and produced by Olympic Gold Medalist Scott Hamilton, is one of the leading entertainment events in the nation. “Canada has always been revered for its superior winter sports athletes. This year I am honored to have some of the world’s greatest figure skaters join us as we come together to deliver one of the most spectacular shows that this country has ever seen, ” said Browning. “It is most exciting that Olympic Gold Medalist Evan Lysacek has joined us this year, and I’d like to personally welcome him to the cast. Random Line-Up/Lottery Draw Policy for Select Your Ticket On Sales:

  • Upon arrival please wait to receive a numbered ticket.  Tickets will be handed out starting 90 minutes prior to the on-sale time until 35 minutes prior to the on-sale time.
  • Once you've received a numbered ticket, you are not required to remain on the premises; however you must be present 30 minutes prior to the on sale time for the random ticket draw.
  • 30 minutes prior to the on-sale a number will be drawn and that person will become first in line with all those numbers after that lining up sequentially behind.  Those that have a number that precedes the first number drawn will go to the end of the line.  This process is to ensure consumer fairness.
  • Once you have your position in line please have your method of payment ready.
